Diamond, Mellencamp top week’s onsales
Concerts from John Mellencamp and Neil Diamond top the onsales for the week ending April 26, as compiled by TicketNews.
Tickets for Diamond’s tour stop at New York City’s Madison Square Garden go on sale Saturday morning, April 26. Additional tour dates on the music legend’s national tour will be on sale in upcoming weeks. Also on sale Saturday are tickets to heartland rocker John Mellencamp’s shows in Chicago and Cincinnati.
The week’s onsales also boast several tour stops for other top artists. Rocker Kid Rock has two Canadian shows on sale Saturday, while O.A.R. and Sheryl Crow also have concerts on sale Saturday morning.
For country fans, the CMA Music Festival has tickets on sale Saturday. The weekend music festival, scheduled for June 6-8 in Nashville, TN, has a line-up that includes Alan Jackson, Carrie Underwood and Faith Hill with additional artists to be announced in the future. In addition to the CMA Festival, country stars Martina McBride, Kenny Chesney and Clint Black all have tour stops on sale throughout the week.
“Onsales” is a ticketing industry term describing when tickets initially go on sale to the general public. Each week, tickets are released by promoters, venues and others to dozens of events, but the number of tickets available can vary significantly between locations.
