Elton John, Keith Urban tickets on sale

Tickets to see separate concerts by music icon Elton John and country star Keith Urban are on sale throughout the weekend ending May 26, as compiled by TicketNews.

Sir Elton has several Canadian stops on his North American tour in the onsales for the weekend, including stops in Calgary and Edmonton, on sale Monday morning. Country crooner Urban also has tickets on sale this weekend, including a concert at Konocti Harbor in Kelseyville, CA.

Several other musical acts have concerts available throughout the weekend, including hard rockers Nine Inch Nails, who have a show at the Mohegan Sun Arena on sale Saturday morning, and 70’s legends KISS, who have a concert at Konocti Harbor in Kelseyville, CA on sale Sunday morning. Pop artist Gavin DeGraw’s tour stop in Joliet, Illinois goes on sale today, while 80’s rockers Heart have a performance at the House of Blues in New Orleans on sale Sunday. In addition to having several Canadian tour stops on sale this weekend, the always popular Madonna has multiple tour dates in presale beginning Monday, including shows in Las Vegas, San Diego, and Denver.

The weekend also boasts several Disney theater productions selling new blocks of tickets. Disney’s three Broadway productions, “The Lion King,” “Mary Poppins,” and the recent Tony nominee “The Little Mermaid,” all have new tickets on sale beginning this weekend. Also on sale this weekend are tickets to the Cotto vs. Margarito boxing match set for the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas. The fight is touted as being one of the best of the year.

“Onsales” is a ticketing industry term describing when tickets initially go on sale to the general public. Each week, tickets are released by promoters, venues and others to dozens of events, but the number of tickets available can vary significantly between locations.
