Keller Williams launches summer tour

Guitarist/singer/songwriter Keller Williams has confirmed his summer tour dates which will run from May 23 through Aug. 31. His trip will include select performances with his band – Moseley, Droll, and Sipe – as well as a co-headlining tour with longtime friends and musical colleagues Yonder Mountain String Band. The two have hit the road together in summers past, on such tours as Acoustic Planet and Big Summer Classic. For this outing, the tour will run throughout the south, the Pacific Northwest and Rocky Mountain regions.

Presale for Williams/YMSB dates began last month at Keller Williams official site, and at local ticket outlets.

Before Williams hits the road this summer, he will release a live, Feb. 8, 2006 Grateful Grass performance. The digital only release, titled “REX (Live at the Fillmore)”, is available now. “Grateful Grass” featured Williams, Keith Moseley (The String Cheese Incident), and Jeff Austin (Yonder Mountain String Band), as they performed not-so-traditional bluegrass versions of Grateful Dead favorites one night in Denver. All of the proceeds from “REX (Live at the Fillmore)” will go to benefit The Rex Foundation, the charitable non-profit organization started by the Grateful Dead which gives grants to worthwhile causes.
