NBA Finals, Janet Jackson tickets on sale
Tickets to see Janet Jackson, and tickets for the NBA Finals are on sale throughout the weekend ending June 7, as compiled by TicketNews.
Tickets to Janet Jackson’s summer concert tour top the week’s onsales list. The pop superstar has tour stops in Vancouver and East Rutherford, NJ on sale Saturday morning. Also on sale Saturday morning are several tour dates for pop rocker John Mayer’s summer concert tour. Tickets will be on sale for concerts in Raleigh and Charlotte, North Carolina, as well as a stop in Saratoga, NY.
The week also offers additional tour dates to Madonna’s North American tour, with the Material Girl adding an additional show to her Chicago stop, as well as having tickets to her Atlantic City concert on sale beginning Monday. Former American Idol champ Carrie Underwood has a concert at the MGM Grand at Foxwoods in Mashantucket, CT on sale beginning Monday as well. Also on sale this week are tickets to see pop princess Jessica Simpson in Indianapolis and Journey, complete with their new lead singer Arnel Pineda who was discovered via YouTube, have a concert in Albuquerie, NM on sale Saturday morning.
Tickets to the first two games of the NBA Finals are also on sale this week, beginning Monday. The Boston Celtics will host the first two games of the series, before the finals move to Los Angeles for the next three games (should they all be necessary). Wrestling fans should take note that the WWE’s summer tour dates, entitled “SummerSlam” go on sale throughout the week as well.
Finally, the week offers several high profile comedy stand-up shows, including Jerry Seinfeld’s stop in Orlando, Chris Rock’s show at the Mohegan Sun in CT, and award-winning comedienne Lily Tomlin’s show in Rosemont, IL.
“Onsales” is a ticketing industry term describing when tickets initially go on sale to the general public. Each week, tickets are released by promoters, venues and others to dozens of events, but the number of tickets available can vary significantly between locations.
