Warrant tour shortened to six shows

Glam rock Warrant’s summer tour with Cinderella was canceled when Cinderella’s lead vocalist’s hemorrhaged vocal chord prevented the trek from happening; now Warrant has put together a scaled down tour–from 26 concerts with Cinderella to six shows this summer. These include a newly added performance with Great White at the Sunset Station Hotel & Casino on July 5 in Henderson, NV, a now headlining slot on Rocklahoma July 12, and several dates in August, which include shows with Alice Cooper on August 17 at the Fortune Bay Casino in Tower, MN and Billy Idol on August 30 at the American Music Festival in Virginia Beach, VA.

For the first time since 1994, original Warrant members vocalist Jani Lane, lead guitarist Joel Allen, bassist Jerry Dixon, guitarist Erik Turner and drummer Steven Sweet will tour together, performing such unforgettable hits as “Cherry Pie,” “Down Boys,” “Heaven,” “Sometimes She Cries,” “Uncle Tom’s Cabin” and many others.

Formed in 1984 by Turner and Dixon, Warrant has played 262 concerts backing their debut album, “Dirty Rotten Filthy Striking Rich” and 200-plus concerts for their sophomore disk, “Cherry Pie.”
