Randy Travis tours behind new album

Gospel/country singer Randy Travis has mapped out a tour with some wide open spaces within it. His tour began July 12 in Houston, TX with his next stop being on July 24 in Windsor, ON. He has booked a lot of Canadian, West Coast and Midwest shows through October with a few weeks off here and there. Six weeks later, Travis is back in Canada for three nights December 1-3 in Niagara Falls, ON.

Travis’ 17th studio album, “Around the Bend,” his first new album of country music in eight years, is due out July 15. He offered a free download of “Faith in You” to registered users of his website for a brief period earlier this year. The song and video can still be found on the site in streaming form.

Travis has won six Grammy Awards, five CMA Awards, sold over 21 million albums and topped the charts 22 times with songs like “Diggin’ up Bones,” “Forever and Ever, Amen,” “I Won’t Need You Anymore (Always and Forever),” “Too Gone Too Long,” “I Told You So,” “Honky Tonk Moon,” “Deeper Than the Holler,” “Is it Still Over?” “It’s Just a Matter of Time” and “Hard Rock Bottom of Your Heart.”
