Robert Plant and Allison Krauss tour adds new leg for Fall
Riding on the success of their critically acclaimed album” Raising Sand” and summer tour, Robert Plant and Allison Krauss have confirmed a new leg of dates for the fall beginning on September 23 in Kansas City, MO and ending on October 5 in Saratoga, CA.
The nine additional dates will make stops in Missouri, Texas, Oregon, Washington and California.
The summer leg finishes up July 19 in Nashville, TN at the Sommet Center. The original July 19 concert in St. Louis, MO has been rescheduled for September 24.
Plant and Krauss received three Americana Music Association nomination nods for Album of the Year (“Raising Sand”), Song of the Year (“Gone, Gone, Gone”) and Duo/Group of the Year. The awards will be given out September 18 at Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.
Touring band members include T Bone Burnett (guitar), Jay Bellerose (drums & percussion), Dennis Crouch (bass), Buddy Miller (guitar) and Stuart Duncan (fiddle, mandolin and other instruments).
