Last chance for Jimmy Buffet and Bridge School Benefit tickets
Iconic crooner Jimmy Buffet is packing up and heading home to Margaritaville during the week ending October 27, just one of several Last Chance events compiled by TicketNews.
Summer concert favorite Buffet, with the Coral Reefer Band in tow, is wrapping his 2008 touring season with a final performance on October 25 at the MGM Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV. The “Cheeseburger in Paradise” singer-songwriter has been on the road since late April of this year with performances scheduled around the country.
Up-and-coming country star Taylor Swift is also completing the last of her regular season solo shows tonight (October 21) at the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, MI, though she has at least one more special performance (at the CMA Awards) on the books for the remainder of the year. Rock favorites Weezer will also be bowing out of their first tour in three years after the closing show on October 25 at the Gwinnett Center Arena in Duluth, GA.
In the world of competitive sports, box offices will close for two major events on Sunday, October 26. It will be the last chance for wrestling fans to grab tickets to the WWE Cyber Sunday fight at the U.S. Airways Center in Phoenix, AX. The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series will also host its next event that same day as the Pep Boys Auto 500 races down the Atlanta Motor Speedway in Morrow, GA.
Finally, there are several one-off benefit concerts and radio events over the weekend. Most notably, Neil Young’s two-day Bridge School Benefit will rock through Saturday and Sunday with performances by the likes of Young, the Smashing Pumpkins, ZZ Top, and Norah Jones, among others.

The availability of tickets for Last Chance events depends on primary and secondary seller inventory, and may vary as tickets are sold in the days leading up to each event.
