Disturbed tour remains ‘Indestructible’ in 2009 with new concerts
Alternative metal band Disturbed is still on the road for their late fall stretch of tour dates, but the rockers are already plotting their return to the road in 2009. The chart-topping rock crew has announced plans for a fourth leg of U.S. dates supporting their June release “Indestructible.”
The next stretch of shows kicks off January 16 at Eagles Ballroom in Milwaukee, WI, and concludes February 28 at the Scranton Cultural Center in Scranton, PA. The 27-city trek includes performances on January 26 at Arco Arena in Sacramento, CA, on February 6 at The Pavilion in Corpus Christi, TX, and on February 22 at the House of Blues in Atlantic City, NJ.
Disturbed is continuing to promote their fourth studio album, “Indestructible,” which has been living up to its name in terms of its performance on the road and on industry charts. The disc debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, making it the band’s third consecutive No. 1 debut and making Disturbed one of only six other rock bands to achieve that chart-topping streak, according to a statement on the band’s Web site.
Earlier in the year, the Chicago-based quartet completed a 15-city spring tour supporting the album, followed by a 30-date headlining stint with the Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival tour.
The rockers are currently on the road for their 13-city fall outing. Disturbed’s next concert is December 8 at The Club at Alerus Center in Grand Forks, ND, with one more date scheduled before the December 15 closing show at Murat Egyptian Room in Indianapolis, IN.
