Elton John & Billy Joel, Dave Matthews Band tickets on sale this week
Tickets for upcoming concerts from Dave Matthews Band as well as tickets for an upcoming joint tour dates from Elton John & Billy Joel are on sale throughout the week ending January 24 as compiled by Ticket News.
The week kicks off on Wednesday with tickets on sale for the 2009 Bamboozle Tour’s stop in New Jersey. Among the artists set to perform at the two day concert are Fall Out Boy, Third Eye Blind, Taking Back Sunday, and the newly reunited No Doubt. Thursday’s onsales include a chance to catch music legends Fleetwood Mac in concert in Glendale, AZ and Greensboro, NC.
Rockers The Killers have several concerts in the onsales throughout the week including stops in Vancouver, Las Vegas, and Milwaukee. Also on sale throughout the weekend are tickets to see New Kids on the Block in concert in Portland and throughout Canada. In the onsales for Friday are tickets to catch R&B star Ne-Yo in concert in Atlanta.
Rounding out the week’s music onsales are several high profile concerts on sale Saturday morning. Dave Matthews Band has addition tour dates in the onsales including stops in Phoenix, Dallas, and Albuquerque. Country star George Strait has tickets on sale for his stop at this summer’s Milwaukee Summerfest. Elton John and Billy Joel have tickets on sale for their joint tour, stopping in Nashville and St. Paul, MN, and rockers Nickelback have shows in Atlanta and Dallas on sale as well.
Finally, the week offers several chances to catch some of today’s hottest comedians live on stage. Jerry Seinfeld has tickets for his upcoming stop in Erie, PA on sale Friday. Also on sale Friday morning are tickets to see Ron White in Appleton, WI, Larry the Cable Guy in Albany, NY, and Jimmy Fallon in Boston. Saturday morning has tickets on sale for Jay Leno’s show in Minnesota.
“Onsales” is a ticketing industry term describing when tickets initially go on sale to the general public. Each week, tickets are released by promoters, venues and others to dozens of events, but the number of tickets available can vary significantly between locations.
