NASCAR, Rick Springfield and Riverdance tickets on sale this weekend

Tickets for upcoming NASCAR races as well as tickets for upcoming concerts from Rick Springfield are on sale throughout the weekend ending January 5, as compiled by TicketNews.

In addition to those events, dance fans will want to grab tickets to see Riverdance in Jacksonville, FL. Tickets for the show go on sale today. In the onsales for Monday are tickets to see Cirque Du Soleil: Saltimbanco in Mobile, AL. On sale Sunday are tickets for the upcoming Broadway revival of West Side Story. The revival is currently performing in Washington D.C. prior to its March opening on Broadway.

The weekend onsales also include multiple tour stops for the various Disney on Ice touring companies. Disney on Ice: Worlds of Fantasy has tickets on sale today and Saturday for stops in Chicago and Boston. Disney on Ice: Disneyland Adventures has tickets in the onsales for Saturday for their stops in Baltimore and Washington D.C. Rounding out the weekend’s Disney offerings are tickets to Disney’s High School Musical on Ice tour, which has a stop in Fresno, CA in Saturday’s onsales.

Also on sale this weekend are tickets for two upcoming NASCAR racing events. First up is the Labor Day 2009 NASCAR Sprint Cup Race held at the Atlanta Motor Speedway in Hampton, GA. The second is the NASCAR Nationwide Series, which is also being held at the Atlanta Motor Speedway. Both events have tickets going on sale Monday morning. Also of note for sports fans are tickets to the World’s Toughest Bulls & Broncos Rodeo in Dayton, OH, which go on sale Saturday morning.

Wrapping up the weekend, former 80’s heartthrob and soap star Rick Springfield has tickets to his concert in Biloxi, MS on sale Saturday morning. The Irish Tenors have tickets in the onsales today for their upcoming concert in Connecticut, and actor/musician Kris Kristofferson has tickets for his upcoming concert in Boston on sale today as well. Monday marks a chance for fans of The Eagles to get presale tickets for the band’s upcoming concerts in Chicago. Finally, tickets to the 38th Annual Annie Awards, which celebrate the year’s greatest achievements in animation, are on sale today. The award show will be held in Los Angeles.
