Last chance for NFL Pro Bowl, Dancing with the Stars tickets
The NFL Pro Bowl is just one of the major events with ticket sales closing out during the week ending February 9, as compiled by TicketNews.
Football fans don’t have to go into withdrawal quite yet. Though the post-season reached its dramatic end with the 27-23 victory for the Pittsburgh Steelers over the Arizona Cardinals at Super Bowl XLIII, the league’s best players are preparing for an NFC vs. AFC showdown on Sunday, February 8, at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, HI. Arizona quarterback Kurt Warner will head up the NFC all-star team, with Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning leading the AFC.
The popular touring version of ABC’s hit reality show Dancing with the Stars is making its final rounds for winter 2009. A total of five East Coast shows are scheduled through the weekend to close out the 2009 Dancing with the Stars tour. The next show is tonight (February 3) at the Wachovia Arena in Wilkes Barre, PA, and the final staging is set for February 8 at the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia, PA. The tour features celebrity dancers Lance Bass, Marlee Matin, Toni Braxton and Maurice Green.
This week is also the last chance to get tickets for O.A.R.‘s current tour, which is supporting the band’s sixth album, “All Sides.” The next show is scheduled for tonight (January 3) at the House of Blues in Dallas, TX, followed by the tour closer on February 5 at Austin Music Hall in Austin, TX. Rock band The Fray is also wrapping a North American tour this week. One more concert is booked for the States on February 4 at Webster Hall in New York, NY. From there, the rockers will head across the pond for a gig run across the UK.
Broadway fanatics and followers of “Harry Potter” star Daniel Radcliffe have just one week left to catch the production of “Equus” at Broadhurst Theatre in New York, NY. The U.S. staging of the London revival was plagued with slow ticket sales, and audiences were at less than 50 percent capacity after only two months on Broadway. With only eight shows left in the acclaimed show’s run, now is the time to catch “Equus,” with the next evening show taking the stage tonight (January 3) and the final curtain call coming in the form of a February 8 matinee.
“Last Chance” information is compiled at the beginning of the week, based on touring acts whose current itineraries are closing over the course of that week. The availability of tickets for Last Chance events depends on primary and secondary seller inventory, and may vary as tickets are sold in the days leading up to each event.
