Last chance for Fall Out Boy, The Dead tickets

Spring concert tours by Fall Out Boy and The Dead are just two of the events with ticket sales closing during the week ending May 18, as compiled by TicketNews.

Fall Out Boy has just four concerts left on its spring tour of North America, which closes on May 17 at the Roy Wilkins Auditorium in St. Paul, MN. The pop-punk rockers have performed more than 30 shows since launching the Never Say Die Part Deux tour in April, including a headline set at Bamboozle and a handful of shows with special guest 50 Cent. Fall Out Boy’s next concert is May 13 at Lifestyles Community Pavilion in Columbus, OH.

One of the most anticipated tours of the season is coming to a close as The Dead perform two final shows this week. Composed of the surviving members of the Grateful Dead, the band is scheduled to perform a final solo show on May 14 at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, CA. The tour close-out comes over the weekend on May 16 as the Allman Brothers Band and Doobie Brothers join The Dead for a concert at Gorge Amphitheatre in Quincy, WA.

Indie sensations The Ting Tings are wrapping their latest jaunt across North America this week with a May 16 set at Mr. Small’s Theater in Pittsburgh, PA. The UK-based duo will return later in August for appearances at the All Points West Festival in Jersey City, NJ, and the Osheaga Festival in Montreal, QC. Southern rock crew ZZ Top has just a few more concerts booked before beginning a tour of Europe and then hopping on Aerosmith’s long awaited summer tour of North America. The trio’s final stateside appearance this spring is set for May 17 at the radio-hosted MMRBQ event at Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden, NJ.

Ticketing is also coming to a close for two major touring and destination festivals this season. Hard rock band Disturbed is closing its annual music and lifestyle Music as a Weapon Tour on May 16 at the Charter One Pavilion in Chicago, IL. The 38-city outing also featured main stage performances by Killswitch Engage, as well as a full second stage roster and various tattoo and extreme sports expositions. The third annual Rock on the Range goes down on May 16-17 at Crew Stadium in Columbus, OH. The third annual festival features main stage acts by Slipknot, Alice in Chains, and Korn, among others.
