Last chance for Exit the King, Nine Inch Nails & Jane’s Addiction tickets
Ticket sales for the Tony award-winning “Exit the King” and summer tour partners Nine Inch Nails & Jane’s Addiction close over the week ending June 14, as compiled by TicketNews.
After walking away from the 2009 Tony Awards with an award for lead actor Geoffrey Rush, “Exit the King” is heading towards its final eight performances on Broadway, wrapping June 14. The comedic play, which also stars Susan Sarandon, hits the stage at Barrymore Theatre again tonight, June 9, followed by two performances on June 10 and June 13, as well as single engagements on June 11, 12.
Nine Inch Nails & Jane’s Addiction are heading into the final week of their North American tour. The bands perform next tonight, June 9, at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, MD, and wrap the venture on June 12 at Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in Charlotte, NC. After the final national concerts this week, NIN will continue its live efforts in Europe this summer, including another stretch of dates with Jane’s Addiction in the UK in July. Jane’s Addiction, meanwhile, will wrap the last of its summer solo dates in the U.S. on June 13 at NTELOS Pavilion Harbor Center in Portsmouth, VA, and June 14 at Chevrolet Theatre in Wallingford, CT.
In addition to these Broadway and concert events, several national festivals are also winding down this week along with their ticket sales. The CMA Music Festival runs from June 11-14 this week at LP Field in Nashville, TN. Performers at the country music event include Taylor Swift, Reba McEntire, Rascal Flatts and more. Also this weekend, the McDonald’s sponsored Gospelfest 2009, featuring Patti LaBelle among others, hits the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ.
The sports world will watch as Game 6 of the NHL Stanley Cup Finals takes place tonight, June 9, at Mellon Arena in Pittsburgh, PA. If the Penguins win their final home game of the finals, the series will head to Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, MI, for the championship-deciding Game 7 on June 12. However, if the 3-2 leading Red Wings win tonight, they’ll be heading back to Detroit with a championship title and the Stanley Cup in tow.

The availability of tickets for Last Chance events depends on primary and secondary seller inventory, and may vary as tickets are sold in the days leading up to each event.
