Last chance for All Points West, Beyoncé tickets

Ticket sales are wrapping up for Beyoncé’s North American tour and the 2009 All Points West, among other events, during the week ending August 3, as compiled by TicketNews.

R&B diva Beyoncé is entering the final week of her North American tour leg for 2009. The acclaimed vocalist and actress has just four performances left on her national itinerary, all part of a brief residency at Encore Theater at the Wynn in Las Vegas, NV. The shows are set to run July 30 through August 2, after which Beyoncé will take a short break from the road before returning to her I AM… World Tour with dates set for Australia in September and Europe in November.

This year’s All Points West hits Liberty State Park in Jersey City, NJ, for its three-day run this week. The music and arts festival opens July 31 with a headline performance by Jay-Z, who is making his U.S. festival debut as a last-minute substitute for Beastie Boys. Tool takes command of the main stage for the second day of events on August 1, when gypsy punk crew Gogol Bordello is also scheduled to appear for the final performance of its U.S. summer tour. Finally, All Points West will wrap on August 2 with a final headline slot filled by Brit rock titan Coldplay.

Progressive rock icons and summer tour partners Yes & Asia are winding down their co-headline tour with five final shows together in the U.S. The trek’s next show is set for tonight, July 18, at Tower Theatre in Upper Darby, PA, with other shows following on July 29 at Wellmont Theatre in Montclair, NJ; July 31 at The Capital One Bank Theatre in Westbury, NY; and August 1 at Jamestown Savings Bank Ice Arena in Jamestown, NY. Yes & Asia’s final night of sharing the stage falls on August 2 at Bethlehem Musikifest, which opens this week…

…Speaking of which, the annual Bethlehem Musikfest opens its gates on Friday for the first of many events on its 10-day schedule. With all its main stage events based at the Sands RiverPlace in Bethlehem, PA, the festival kicks off July 31 with a performance by The Commodores. Other headline performances for the opening include Chris Isaak and The Wallflowers (August 1), Yes and Asia (August 2), and David Cook with Green River Ordinance (August 3). These headline performances are for one night only, but Musikfest extends through August 9.

Prog-rockers aren’t the only ones who have teamed up on the road this summer. Punk favorites Rancid & Rise Against are also completing a leg of North American dates this week, with the remaining shows booked from July 28-29 at the House of Blues in Boston, MA, through July 31 at Molson Amphitheatre in Toronto, ON. Similarly, up-and-coming group Hollywood Undead is ending its run with Red Jumpsuit Apparatus this week with a few final shows from July 28 at Club 101 in El Paso, TX, through July 31 at The Marquee in Tempe, AZ.

For those looking for an extra adrenaline boost over the weekend, ESPN’s X Games XV runs this week from July 30 through August 3 at the Staples Center and Home Depot Center in Los Angeles, CA, where events range from motocross and BMX to skateboarding and surfing. Also, this weekend, the Meijer Indy 300 hits the pavement on August 1 at Kentucky Speedway in Sparta, KY. Meanwhile, the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series: Pennsylvania 500 is scheduled for on August 2 at Pocono Raceway in Long Pond, PA.
