Insane Clown Posse tour ends the year with a ‘Bang!’
Hip-hop duo Insane Clown Posse (ICP) is taking its crazy carnival on the road through the end of the year as part of the Bang Pow Boom! Tour.
The barrage begins on September 17 at First Avenue in Minneapolis, MN, and continues through a December 11 concert at East Peoria Events Center in East Peoria, IL. Spending three solid months on the road, ICP will visit nearly 60 markets from coast to coast across the United States.
Performances are lined up along the way on September 20 at the Knitting Factory in Spokane, WA; September 27 at the Grove of Anaheim in Anaheim, CA; October 7 at Warehouse Live in Houston, TX; October 24 at the Rave Eagles Club in Milwaukee, WI; November 13 at the Warfield Theatre in San Francisco, CA; and December 1 at The Masquerade in Atlanta, GA.
Additionally, an October 27 concert originally booked for The Pearl Room in Mokena, IL, has been transferred to Club Congress in Chicago, IL. According to the Pearl’s official MySpace page, the venue has closed after six years, forcing its booked shows to reschedule for other Chicago-area stages. The venue did not explain specifics of the closing in a statement on its site.
Alternative metal band Hed PE has been confirmed as the supporting act for the tour. Tickets are already on sale to the general public for most dates of the tour; complete ticketing information is available on the ICP’s official Web site.
ICP is touring behind its eleventh studio album, “Bang! Pow! Boom!” released on September 1. The record is a follow-up to 2007’s “The Tempest,” which peaked at No. 20 on the Billboard 200.
