Lilith Fair reveals full concert schedule, remaining ticket onsale dates

After a month of incomplete concert announcements and limited ticket sales, the full summer schedule has finally been unveiled for Lilith Fair.

As originally announced, the first Lilith concert in 10 years will take place June 27 at McMahon Stadium in Calgary, AB. The traveling festival’s triumphant return will continue through an August 16 event at Superpages.com Center in Dallas, TX.

Lilith Fair 2010 will visit a total of 36 markets across the United States and Canada over the course of seven weeks. Prior to this week’s full itinerary unveiling, only 16 concerts had been confirmed during the fair’s mid- and late March announcement rounds.

Tour stops include July 5 at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, CA; July 21 at DTE Energy Music Theatre in Clarkston, MI; August 4 at Time Warner Cable Music Pavilion in Raleigh, NC; and August 15 at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in The Woodlands, TX.

While all dates and cities on the tour have been matched up, not all venues have been firmed up. Host amphitheaters are still forthcoming for events on August 3 in Washington, DC, and August 14 in Austin, TX.

Previously announced tour markets opened their box offices to the public on March 27 and April 3. The remaining concert dates, which were announced at the start of the week, will go on sale April 17.

Each tour stop will feature an 11-act lineup, which is regularly updated on the official Lilith Fair Web site. The only artist performing each night of the tour is co-founder and singer-songwriter Sarah McLachlan.

The eclectic, female-centric billing also features select appearances by Rihanna, Selena Gomez, Court Yard Hounds, Sheryl Crow, Erykah Badu, Emmylou Harris and Norah Jones, among many others.
