Lady Antebellum, Prince tickets on sale this weekend

Tickets for upcoming concert dates from Prince and to shows on Lady Antebellum’s upcoming tour are going on sale to the public throughout the weekend, beginning November 4 and ending November 7.

The weekend’s onsales start off with tickets to upcoming concerts from Prince. The music legend toured the United States over the last year with his Welcome 2 America Tour. But starting today, November 4, tickets are available for his next venture, the Welcome 2 Canada Tour. Among the tour stops on sale are Vancouver, BC; Edmonton, AB; and Toronto, ON.

The weekend also boasts tickets for country crossover superstars Lady Antebellum. Coming off their latest successful album “Own the Night,” their tour of the same name launches in November and continues well into the New Year. On sale throughout the weekend are tickets to their 2012 shows in New York City, Nashville, Dallas, and Chicago, among other markets.

Tickets to several upcoming holiday concerts will go on sale to the public over the weekend. Among today’s seasonal onsales is Indianapolis’s “Santa Slam,” which will feature Disney star Demi Lovato. In Los Angeles, onsales open Saturday for the annual KIIS Jingle Ball, with Lady GaGa headlining this year’s festivities.

Tickets to several sporting events wrap up this weekend’s onsales. Tickets go on sale today for two Professional Bull Riders events that are upcoming in Georgia and Florida.

Meanwhile, tickets to this year’s Wrestlemania XXVIII go on sale Saturday. The WWE’s premier event will be held this year in Miami, and features the wrestling return of former WWE favorite and action film star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

“Onsales” is a ticketing industry term describing when tickets initially go on sale to the general public. Each week, tickets are released by promoters, venues and others to dozens of events, but the number of tickets available can vary significantly between locations.
