Megadeth resurrects Gigantour for 2012 concerts

For the first time in over three years, Megadeth will tour the country under the banner of its vanity festival, Gigantour.

The two-dozen date itinerary opens January 26 with a performance at the Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden, NJ, and concludes a month later with a February 28 concert at the Fillmore Auditorium in Denver, CO.

The Gigantour 2012 calendar includes events on January 28 at the Madison Square Garden Theater in New York, NY; February 3 show at Bell Centre in Montreal, QC; February 10 at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago, IL; February 18 at the Big Four Building in Calgary, AB; and February 25 at Comerica Theatre in Phoenix, AZ.

Public onsales begin November 4 in select markets. According to LiveNation.com listings, a majority of pre-fee ticket prices are within the range of $32 to $52, or $39.50 to $59.50. More event details are available on the official Gigantour Web site.

Spawned in 2005 and abandoned after 2008, the traveling festival will be resurrected with the help of supporting acts Motorhead, Lacuna Coil and Volbeat.
