Bruce Springsteen, The Fray tickets on sale throughout the weekend
With their third album set to be released next week, The Fray have tickets to their upcoming tour on sale throughout the weekend ending February 6, as compiled by TicketNews.
Since their debut in 2002, The Fray have achieved great commercial success. Their long-awaited third album is expected to continue that success, with early singles receiving strong radio play. Dates for their upcoming tour promoting the album include shows in Dallas, New York, St. Louis, Atlanta, and Orlando on sale today.
Also among the weekend’s concert onsales are tickets to additional dates on the upcoming tour from Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. Springsteen, who is one of the most successful musical acts in history with over 120 million albums sold worldwide, will soon release his first new album in several years. The upcoming tour, which will promote both the new album and the group’s older hits, has concerts in Los Angeles, San Jose, Greensboro, and Atlanta on sale this weekend.
One of the more unique events in this weekend’s onsales is the upcoming national tour of “Shatner’s World: We Just Live In It.” A one-man show presented by television star William Shatner, the piece is set to play a limited engagement on Broadway this winter prior to setting out on tour. Among the stops on sale this weekend are performances in Cincinnati and Minneapolis.
Rounding out this weekend’s onsales are tickets for two Major League Baseball teams. First, the Chicago White Sox have tickets on sale today. Coming off a disappointing season that saw various shake-ups in team management and players, the White Sox are looking to rebound with a return to the top of the American League Central Division. Also on sale this weekend are tickets to the 2012 San Francisco Giants season. After a disappointing 2011, the 2010 World Series Champions will look to rebound back to championship form.
