Jay-Z 4:44 Tour For Sale – If You Meet Their Criteria
It’s heady times for fans of rap mogul Jay-Z, as the artist’s 4:44 came out in late June and has already gone Platinum, and he is heading out on tour to support the work, which has been widely acclaimed.
Unfortunately, as with most major tours these days, fans are going to have to jump through some hoops. Bustle is reporting that the tour has a presale this week exclusive to those with Tidal accounts or certain credit cards. Tidal, for those who don’t know, is a premium streaming service owned by Jay-Z and other artists. It is the platform on which his album was first released as well.
For those without access to the presale, this likely means whatever minimal number go to ‘regular sale’ on Friday will be gone almost instantly. This has become the norm for tickets, as tours from Ed Sheeran to Garth Brooks see the same story being told.

If you don’t manage to get hold of the coveted tickets, Jay-Z is also performing at several festivals in 2017. He’ll be at The Meadows in New York, Austin City Limits in Texas and V Festival in the United Kingdom. He’s also playing the Made in America fest in Philadelphia, but since Jay-Z is involved in its production, it comes with the same strings attached as his regular tour dates.
