Boxing Scores Top Spot On Thursday Best-Sellers

The boxing match between Canelo Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin later this year took the No. 1 spot on yesterday’s best-selling events list, according to sales data from Ticket Club.

Premier Boxing Champions Errol Spence Jr. and Carlos Ocampo followed with a top-selling match this weekend. The World Football Championship, 2018 Men’s College World Series, US Open Golf, and UFC sold well. Baseball was also a hot commodity; the MLB All Star Game and Home Run Derby made it into the top 10, along with a handful of baseball games.

The Broadway show Hamilton clocked in at No. 2 for a show next January in Pittsburgh and took a few spots on the list. Lynyrd Skynyrd and Marshall Tucker Band, Beyonce and Jay-Z, and Lenny Kravitz were among the day’s best-sellers due to ongoing and upcoming shows on tour.
