Radiohead guitarist Ed O’Brien will head out on an intimate solo tour for the first time next year to support new music.

O’Brien will kick-off the brief outing on February 7 in Toronto, Ontario. From there, he’ll head to Chicago to play Lincoln Hall and New York City to perform at the Le Poisson Rouge. Los A ngeles will close-out the tour at the Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever. While these are the only dates announced at this time, a full-sale tour for 2020 will be announced in the coming weeks, a press release notes. During the jaunt, O’Brien will be joined by a live band including Hinako Omari, Ross Champman, Dishan Abrahams, and Alvin Ford, Jr.

Next year, O’Brien will drop a yet-to-be-titled album. The LP is set to feature contributions from his Radiohead bandmates Colin Greenwood and Laura Marling, as well as Portishead’s Adrian Utley, among others. Recently, he released the first single off the record, “Brasil.”

O’Brien is the latest member of Radiohead to announce a tour, following Thom Yorke, who just extended his tour through 2020.
