Dead & Company Announce 31-Date 2021 Touring Run

Dead & Company have announced their return to the touring stage, setting 31 dates for the late summer and fall of 2021 with tickets on sale beginning next week. The band, which features former Grateful Dead members Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann and Bob Weir as well as guitarist John Mayer, bassist Oteil Burbridge and keybordist Jeff Chimenti, begins its run on August 15, with dates scheduled through a 3-show run over Halloween Weekend at the Hollywood Bowl.

Those interested in purchasing tickets can sign up for the band’s “verified fan” system, trading access to their personal data in exchange for a shot at a special presale offered next week. Tickets for the general public are on sale beginning at noon local venue time on Friday, May 21. The Verified Fan registration system is open now through Sunday evening.

Since its formation in 2015, the band has played six tours, selling a reported 2.8 million tickets to its 149 shows thus far.

Most of the performances scheduled for the 2021 run are single shows in individual markets, beginning with Raleigh’s Coastal Credit Union Music Park. The only currently scheduled multi-stop locations are Xfinity Center in Mansfield, Massachusetts on September 2-3, Wrigley Field in Chicago, Illionis on September 17-18, and Fiddlers Green Amphitheater in Greenwood Village, Colorado prior to the October 29-31 run at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, California.
