Mariah Carey Cancels Pittsburgh Christmas Show Last-Minute Amid Flu
Certified Christmas Queen Mariah Carey had to call-off the Pittsburgh show on her Christmas tour Wednesday night, citing illness last-minute.
The “All I Want For Christmas Is You” singer was slated to appear at the PPG Paints Arena Wednesday, however, just hours before showtime, she took to social media to share the news.
“Pittsburgh, I am sorry to say, I’ve come down with the flu,” Carey said. “It breaks my heart that I unfortunately have to cancel tonight’s show. I love you all so much.”
The arena noted that fans will receive an email regarding refund information.
While fans were disappointed with the last minute news — with some even sharing their planned outfits for the concert — many were understanding and wished her well.
