New York Red Bulls, Sports Illustrated Tickets Unveil New Stadium Name Amid Partnership

The New York Red Bulls and Sports Illustrated are unveiling a new stadium name as a part of a historic 13-year partnership.

The 25,000-person venue, formerly known as Red Bull Arena, will now be dubbed “Sports Illustrated Stadium.” The name change has arrived amid a landmark, 13-year partnership that will also see Sports Illustrated Tickets take over as the official ticketing partner for all events at the venue, beginning in 2026, marking the first stadium-naming-rights partnership in Sports Illustrated’s 70-year history. This will include international soccer games, youth events, concerts, and more events held at the stadium.

Sports Illustrated Tickets CEO David Lane explained that “seeing Sports Illustrated Stadium for the first time is truly a historic and awe-inspiring moment.”

“For 70 years, Sports Illustrated has represented the best in sports and culture,” Lane said. “Through this global partnership and soon-to-be iconic venue, we aim to showcase our vast portfolio of media, live event ticketing, hospitality and fan experiences as we continue to partner with leagues, teams, artists and venues around the world. Sports Illustrated Stadium is much more than just a venue – it’s a celebration of history, innovation and the unforgettable experiences that unite us all.”

The partnership aims to offer fans access to digital ticketing solutions to exclusive events, as well as immersive opportunities. Additionally, fans will receive a digital Sports Illustrated Fan Cover at all stadium events as a keepsake. The hospitality experience “Club SI” will also arrive at the stadium, offering VIP access, food, beverages, live entertainment, and more for fans.

The blockchain ticketing platform Box Office will kick-off for the 2025 season — offering an end-to-end management ticketing solution. This will make Sports Illustrated Stadium the first major venue where all of its events will use blockchain-based ticketing.

Marc de Grandpré, president of New York Red Bulls, noted in a statement that “our shared values and unwavering commitment to delivering an unparalleled guest experience will further cement Sports Illustrated Stadium as a premier destination for sports and entertainment in the metropolitan area.”

“We are truly honored to call Sports Illustrated Stadium the home of Red Bull New York, and together, we eagerly anticipate creating unforgettable memories for all our fans and guests,” de Grandpré said.
