Sarah Hyland to Join Broadway’s ‘The Great Gatsby’
Sarah Hyland is set to take on the role of Daisy Buchanan in the Broadway adaptation of “The Great Gatsby” beginning on February 10.
Hyland will succeed Tony nominee Eva Noblezada, whose last performance is scheduled for January 30 at the Broadway Theatre. Joining Hyland onstage will be Ryan McCartan, who is slated to take on the role of Jay Gatsby on January 21. McCartan is set to replace current star Jeremy Jordan on January 19.
This casting marks a return to Broadway for Hyland, who first debuted on the stage in “Grey Gardens” as young Jackie Bouvier. Notably, earlier this year, she starred as Audrey in the critically acclaimed Off-Broadway revival of “Little Shop of Horrors.”
