
‘Boop! The Musical’ Unveils Full Cast for Upcoming Broadway Run
The Broadway debut of “BOOP! The Betty Boop Musical” has unveiled its full cast.
The musical will take the stage at the Broadhurst Theatre, with previews beginning on March 11, leading up to an official opening night on April 5. The book is penned by Bob Martin, with music composed by David Foster and lyrics by Susan Birkenhead. The musical is directed and choreographed by Tony Award-winner Jerry Mitchell.
Returning to their roles from the Chicago production are Jasmine Amy Rogers as Betty Boop, Faith Prince as Valentina, Ainsley Melham as Dwayne, Erich Bergen as Raymond, Stephen DeRosa as Grampy, Anastacia McCleskey as Carol, Angelica Hale as Trisha, Phillip Huber as the puppeteer for Pudgy the Dog, and Aubie Merrylees as Oscar.
“The joy this cast has brought to BOOP! The Musical is infectious,” Mitchell said in a statement. “We had a blast bringing BOOP! to the stage in Chicago, and I can’t wait for audiences to see this original Broadway cast go full out.”

Lawrence Alexander, Courtney Arango, Colin Bradbury, Tristen Buettel, Joshua Michael Burrage, Victoria Byrd , and Dan Castiglione will join the original Chicago cast.
Additional cast members include Rebecca Corrigan, Ian Gallagher Fitzgerald, RJ Higton, Nina Lafarga, Morgan McGhee, Ryah Nixon, Christian Probst, Ricky Schroeder, Gabriella Sorrentino, Derek Jordan Taylor, Lizzy Tucker, Amy Van Norstrand, Damani Van Rensalier, and David Wright Jr. Both Tara Rubin and Kevin Metzger-Timson handled the casting for the production.
The show’s design team, who contributed to the world premiere, will also reprise their roles on Broadway. This includes scenic designer David Rockwell, costume designer Gregg Barnes, lighting designer Philip S. Rosenberg, sound designer Gareth Owen, projection designer Finn Ross, and others. Daryl Waters serves as music supervisor and arranger, with Rick Fox as music director.
