Greg Hildreth Joins the Cast of Broadway’s ‘Chicago’

Broadway’s “Chicago” is getting ready to welcome Greg Hildreth to its cast at the Ambassador Theatre on January 6.  Hildreth is set to step into the role of Amos Hart, succeeding Red Concepción, who’s final performance is slated for January 4.

Hildreth is set to join Bianca Marroquín, who plays Roxie Hart, and will continue her portrayal until January 19. Kimberly Marable takes on the role of Velma Kelly, while Max von Essen plays Billy Flynn. NaTasha Yvette Williams rounds out the principal cast as Matron “Mama” Morton.

Notably, Hildreth has appeared in several Broadway productions. Recently, he played Peter in the 2021 revival of “Company.” He also originated Olaf in “Frozen” along with notable performances in “The Rose Tattoo,” “Cinderella,” “Peter and the Starcatcher,” and “Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson.”

Additionally, the “Chicago” production team is also preparing for the return of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Jayne, who is set to step back into the role of Roxie Hart beginning January 20. 

“Chicago” features a score by John Kander and Fred Ebb and a book by Ebb and Bob Fosse. Directed by Walter Bobbie and choreographed by Ann Reinking, the show first opened on November 14, 1996.
