Shane Gillis Breaks Frost Bank Center Attendance Record with Sold-Out Show
Shane Gillis has set a new record for the most tickets sold for a comedy show at the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio.
With 16,868 tickets sold, Gillis’ recent performance has surpassed the previous record of 16,566 set by comedian Dave Chappelle. The top-ranking comedy shows at the venue now feature Shane Gillis, alongside performances by Gabriel Iglesias in 2024, Kevin Hart in 2022, and Adam Sandler in 2023.
Mindy Corr, Vice President and General Manager at Spurs Sports & Entertainment, expressed her excitement over the success of Gillis’ performance.
“Shane Gillis’ show brought our community together in a way that is truly fun,” Corr said. “Laughter has a unique ability to connect people and create lasting memories, and we are incredibly proud to have hosted this record-breaking show and provide a platform for such a unifying experience.”
This achievement is the second major record set at Frost Bank Center in recent months. On July 31, 2024, country music star Zach Bryan broke the venue’s all-time paid tickets record during his concert, eclipsing the previous high set by George Strait on November 2, 2002.
Currently, Gillis is in the midst of his tour with upcoming shows in Vancouver, Seattle, Salt Lake City, Cleveland, Albany, Anaheim and San Diego before his final performance on June 28 in San Jose at SAP Center.
