
Tim McGraw to Perform at the Field of Dreams Movie Site
Tim McGraw is set to become the first artist to perform a concert at the famed Field of Dreams movie site in Dyersville, Iowa.
On August 30, McGraw will bring his music to the baseball diamond from the the1989 film. Field of Dreams tells the story of Ray Kinsella, played by Kevin Costner, who builds a baseball diamond on his farm after being guided by a mysterious voice.
The baseball field created for the film has become a popular destination for events over the years. It has hosted a range of events, from seasonal games with The Ghost Players to special MLB games. However, McGraw’s performance will be the first major concert to take place on the iconic field.

Notably, McGraw has a personal connection to the event. The concert is slated to fall on his late father, Tug McGraw’s, birthday, who was a baseball player and played a role in the Philadelphia Phillies’ 1980 World Series victory.
Early bird tickets will go on sale starting January 20 for fans who create a StubHub account and favorite McGraw’s artist page. General presale tickets will be available beginning January 21, with full ticket sales starting January 24.
Additionally, the “Just to See You Smile” singer is scheduled for three other shows for 2025. McGraw is slated to perform on August 31 at Thunder Ridge Nature Arena in Ridgedale, MO, as well as Wean Park in Youngstown, OH, and The Venue at Thunder Valley Casino in Lincoln, CA.
