Utah Hockey Club to Offer $10 Tickets for State Residents
The Utah Hockey Club has unveiled a new ticketing initiative in collaboration with two Utah-based companies. The initiative aims to make attending NHL games at the Delta Center more accessible to fans across the state.
Smith’s, a regional supermarket chain, and Moxie, a locally-owned pest control company, will help provide up to 2,000 fans per game with the opportunity to purchase single-goal view tickets for $10. Each ticket also includes a hot dog and a bottle of water. To prevent scalping, tickets obtained through this initiative are non-transferable and cannot be resold.
Smith’s launched the Utah Hockey Club Value Ticket Program, allowing customers to purchase $10 tickets after spending $20 or more at participating Smith’s locations. For every $20 spent, shoppers can buy two $10 single-goal view tickets, with the option to acquire up to eight tickets per $80 transaction, subject to availability.
Participating Smith’s shoppers will receive a receipt with a unique URL and promo code, which they can use online to redeem the ticket offer. More information about the Smith’s Utah Hockey Club Value Ticket Program is available at www.nhl.com/utah/tickets/value-tickets.
Additionally, the Utah Hockey Club College Ticket Program, sponsored by Moxie Pest Control, offers enrolled university students in Utah the chance to buy $10 tickets for select home games. Students can purchase up to two tickets for up to three remaining home games this season using their valid university email addresses.
“Partnering with Smith’s and Moxie enables us to create more affordable opportunities for families and fans to experience the excitement of live hockey,” said Chris Barney, president of revenue and commercial strategy at Smith Entertainment Group. “This initiative is part of our broader mission to enhance community engagement and ensure that more people can enjoy the NHL experience at the Delta Center during our inaugural season.”
