Whitechapel Plots ‘Hymns of Dissonance’ 2025 North American Tour
The deathcore group Whitechapel is heading out on a North American tour next year.
The “Hymns of Dissonance Tour” will kick-off on March 18 at The Ritz in Raleigh. From there, they’ll appear in Toronto, Edmonton, Sacramento, and Mesa, stopping at venues along the way like The Palladium in Worcester, The Showbox in Seattle, San Antonio’s Aztec Theatre, and The Orpheum in Tampa. The run will wrap-up at The Masquerade in Atlanta on April 19.
“We are excited to announce the Hymns In Dissonance Tour taking place in Spring of 2025,” Whitechapel guitarist Alex Wade noted in a statement. “This will be our first headlining tour on our new album cycle and we are looking forward to playing some new songs live for everyone.”
The trek will feature direct support from the modern deathcore band Brand Of Sacrifice, as well as 200 Stab Wounds, who Wade said will be “bringing the old school death metal flavor.” Progressive metal band Alluvial will open the show.
Whitechapel dropped the single “A Visceral Retch” this past September and last released the LP Kin in 2021.
The new tour dates follow the band’s decision to call-off their winter run in South America. Vocalist Phil Bozeman said that the trek was called-off due to mental health concerns.
