New Orleans Jazz Festival: Pearl Jam, Dave Matthews, Kacey Musgraves

The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival’s 2025 lineup is here, featuring headlining performances across all genres.

The festival will run for eight days at the Fair Grounds Race Course in New Orleans, Louisiana, spanning across two weekends: April 24, 25, 26, and 27, followed by May 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.

Throughout the festival, fans can look forward to headlining performances from the rock icons of Pearl Jam and Dave Matthews Band, rapper Lil Wayne with The Roots, country’s Kacey Musgraves and Luke Combs, blues-rock stars John Fogerty and Santana, R&B’s Lenny Kravitz, and Jamaican reggae artist Burna Boy.

Other notable acts taking the stage include pop trio HAIM, pop’s Laufey, rapper Big Freedia, the Mexican brass based group Banda MS, and reggae’s The Wailers featuring Julian Marley, as well as sets from rock bands like Cage The Elephant, My Morning Jacket, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Cheap Trick, The Revivalists, and Goose.

R&B will be at the forefront with performances from Bryson Tiller, Babyface, Patti LaBelle, Gladys Knight, Irma Thomas, Tank and the Bangas, and PJ Morton, alongside jazz artists Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Harry Connick Jr., Diana Krall, Branford Marsalis, Kamasi Washington, and Ledisi Sings Nina.

Galactic, Taj Mahal & The Phantom Blues Band, James Bay, Margo Price, Stanley Clarke, Dumpstaphunk, Better Than Ezra, Tia Wood, Hurry for the Riff Raff, Little Freddie King, The Castellows, and New Breed Bass Band are among over 100 other acts rounding-out the bill.

Aside from the music, festivalgoers can immerse themselves into art and check out marketplaces like the Congo Square African Marketplace, Contemporary Crafts, and Louisiana Marketplace. There are also various villages on-site, giving festivalgoers the opportunity to delve into different cultures with Louisiana Folklife Village, Native American Village, The Grandstand, and Expedia Cultural Exchange Area.

An extensive menu will also be served across two weekends, celebrating Louisiana’s centuries-old traditions in cooking.

Tickets to this year’s festival are now on sale. General Admission weekend passes start at $329, followed by GA+ passes at $579, and various VIP options.
